I did watch some news while I was gone, so I did hear about Serena Williams and her stupidity at the line judge. I also heard about the fucking idiot Kanye West and his bullshit at the video awards. What the fuck is with these uppity assholes?

In other news, I heard about Patrick Swazey's death - sad day. I liked him in 'Roadhouse'. 'Dirty Dancing' he was good in, but the movie itself? Meh.

I also heard about how leftard demo-socialists are all talking about how Joe Wilson calling Obamm-bamm a liar during his speech was all racist and shit. What a bunch of fucking morons.
Wilson was right. And trying to make him look racist is just another weak fucking ploy by socialist assholes to shove their own agenda up our asses.

Oh, let's not for get the ACORN hullabloo regarding the pimp and his ho. Now THAT's funny. I don't care who you are.

Laws, Laws And More Fucking Laws

So the bobble-heads on the news this morning mentioned that as of today, 180 new laws went into effect for the state of Nevada. At a quick glance, there some half decent ones, but for the most part they were fairly stupid.

One for instance, said that landlords had to notify renters if the property went into foreclosure. That's cool, I'm down with that. It seems only fair that you would get more than a day or two notice if you're going to get booted out of your house.

Another dealt with identity theft. Businesses are now required to show less information on your receipt. For instance, they are no longer allowed to print your credit card number. There is no reason to do that in the first place, and it never should have been done, so too bad it had to be made law.

Yet another was totally stupid. It was something along the lines of this. If a restaurant, grocer, ... whatever business, donates food to your organization and someone gets food poisoning, you can't sue them. WTF?

And last but no means least, our fucking taxes went up. Yet again. Sales tax is now at 8.1%, up from 7.75%.
And don't tell me how I have it better than blah blah blah state, that it isn't as bad as theirs. I know ours is lower than some states. But that is their voting responsibility, not mine. I didn't vote for theses taxes or even the people who raised them. My permission wasn't asked.

And it wasn't just sales tax that went up. Business licenses doubled, payroll taxes almost doubled, vehicle registration fees went up, and the state minimum wage went up which of course, businesses have to absorb. That will probably cause even more layoffs. Fuckers.

Tell me again you White House residing motherfucker how only " The Rich™ " are the ones who will see tax increases! This shit trickles down to everyone. And once taxes go up, they don't go back down.

Now add more taxes to tobacco, and what happens? Some people will pay anyway, but then some will just quit buying the shit.

The thing is, budgets have already been drawn up which rely on dollars from tobacco sales, so they've done gone and legislated that money right out of the budget.

It may have been obvious to some of you folks out there for a spell, but this thought only struck me recently. What with the gummint pulling trillions of dollars of bailout money out its ass, do these so-called 'bailout benefactors' realize they are now totally indebted and under the control of the gummint?
No, not the public - we taxpayers - who actually are the new 'board' of these failing businesses. We won't have any sort of say-so or vote in how banks and auto factories are run. No, it will be whoever gets appointed by appointed committees to take over the running of those businesses. Yup, definitely more government. We all knew that when the asshole got elected POTUS.

But here's the kicker: Rumor has it that if those businesses ever do start to dig themselves out and turn a profit, the appointed overseers are supposed to take that money and apply it toward payback of the 'stimulus'.

I don't see it that way. As long as the gummint is running the show, they will keep running the show. Force these companies to do their bidding.
Those businesses will never revert back to total private ownership. Any money made will most likely go to "Administrative" and "Infrastructure" costs. And they'll point out that it's their job to run it, that they're doing their best, and it's all being done for the American people.

You poor bastards who thought you were going to be able to revive your multi-bazillion dollar salaries under Uncle Sam's wing? You're fucked.
And you know what sort of business managers our government traditionally has had. You're company is fucked too.

Since the details or text of the plan wasn't even released to the general public until it had been voted in, who outside of the assholes voting on it would have had a chance to analyze it before it was actually shoved up our collective asses?

It was touted as milk and honey, but you never heard an opposing view on how everyone was going to be paying their neighbor's mortgage and free health care. I think too many people don't realize that "the government" is US. The government doesn't have some big stash of unused cash. It doesn't just magically appear when people want or need it. Everyone pays for it.

Unless of course, you're one of the welfare moms with ten kids working the system getting "freebies" from Uncle Sam.

So if you can't constitutionally make something illegal, you tax or regulate the fuck out of it so as to make it virtually unattainable by the average citizen.
