Nearly 2,000 people are taking part in the Southern Nevada rally in support of fair immigration laws.Oh, whatever you do, don't let anyone else have their opinion on this holy day.

Hundreds of people, mostly Hispanic, began gathering this morning at Jaycee Park to start their march to the downtown George Federal Building. By noon, the number of people taking part in the march grew to about 2,000.
As the march grew so did emotions. Two women carrying signs suggesting illegals go home were surrounded by angry protestors. The confrontation lasted several minutes before organizers were able to break it up.

A big local immigration rally is planned for tonight. It will start at the Fremont Street Experience at 6 p.m.. There is a silent candlelight march starting at 7 p.m. that will end at the New York New York Casino and Hotel.
Silent march? Not much of a rally.
