I mean, dad brought his kid to work. Ain't that what parents are supposed to do? Spend more time with their kids?
So he let the kid talk to a pilot, clearing the plane to take off. It's not like the kid was actually directing traffic, and you know the dad told the kid what to say. No biggey.
Besides, the pilot was probably drunk anyway. He probably didn't even realize who he was talking to.
