First off, here's the News: Iraq has just elected a new prime minister and is closer to coming out of the caveman days to the real world than it has ever been. Where is your sense of history, man? Do you really understand what you are saying?
Secondly, You can't seriously be blaming THIS administration for GAS prices, can you? Do you know what goes into the refining/production of fuel, with the addition of the new demand/world economy with India and China entering the stage?
Third: The jobless rate is now at 4.2%. That's the LOWEST it's been in the past 20 YEARS. Regardless of outsourcing, the last quarters' results were a near 5% growth in the economy since the year STARTED.
Fourth: Where the hell does the Supreme Court come into any of this? They haven't made any consequential decisions since last year (before any appointments actually took the bench) and will not make any until the fall. It's not like they MAKE legislation (even if some of them try). It's Not Thier Role In Government.
Lastly, I don't know if you're a friend of Dave's or not, but you definately don't have his sense of humor! God, man, lighten up!

the country is mired in a civil war. car bombs are going off there at an increasingly high rate. we lost 8 soldiers there last weekend alone. the prime minister is in charge of a impotent government. our soldiers are mired there at the very least until their oil runs out and its not cost effective. wheres your sense of history? those who do not learn from history are doomed to repeat it.

no i think i will blame jimmy carter for giving the oil companies huge tax breaks even while they top the fortune 500. are you an idiot? this administration is looking out for the oil companies with big tax breaks and opening up alaska to drilling. you should wake up.

the jobless rate is low because when people arent eligible for unemployment the are dropped from the register of the umemployed. the jobs that pay a man enough to support a family are going and are being replaced with jobs in the service sector which pay dramatically less. so now for a man to support his family he better have a full time job at three mcdonalds and thanks to this administration thats the best job he can get.

i brought that up because it shows that the republicans control the complete government and still cant get anything useful done. i guess thats the democrats fault too.

Civil war? I missed that CNN report. Insurgency? Yes... in fact from what I understand from the 7 soldiers and marines I've adopted they're cowards who leave car bombs instead of fighting and in fact, my Sgt. caught 8 of them in one nights work. Is it hard? Yeah, but they also tell me that the real story of progress is not being told in the media here. They have about as much respect for the journalists back here as they do for the left wing assholes that actually want us to lose this war for their own political orgasm.
As for me being an idiot, maybe, but at least I'm not that freaking stupid that I have to work three jobs at McDonalds. But hey, if it's any consolation, if you ever lose one of yours we can sure use you up here in New Jersey.
