Uncle Sam Approves Blogs?

Army clarifies blogging policy
The Army is backing off its regulation restricting the ability of servicemen and -women, their families and contractors to blog.
Not sure if this regulation applies to other branches of the military, but I'm thinking there are some "foreign correspondents" who may be interested.

Check your email:) Funny this was explained AFTER the message we got at the conference! To quote one of the panelists, "It doesn't mean much to me...I'm Navy."

Don't rejoice yet. They wrote a "fact sheet". The regs are still the same.

This will be like the "appropriate computer use" guidelines at any major company. They will be selectively enforced when there's a desire or need to shut someone down.

It's not over.

At least they're loosening up a bit instead of completely outlawing them though.
