It makes me feel somewhat warm inside when I hear how republicans are the ones putting the kibosh on Obamm-bamm's so-called stimulus package.
Apparently, republicans are the only ones with any sort of
brains fiscal foresight and realize that placing a larger burden on the shoulders of the taxpayers is in the end, just going to make it harder on taxpayers. So they are making it vewy vewy hard for democrats to steal more money.
Which really pisses democrats off because since most of them don't pay taxes, they don't mind at all if taxes increase.

You've got to be freakin kidding me. Republicans are the ones who have put the debt and deficit out of control. Have you not noticed what Bush did to the debt?
Yep, I noticed what Bush did to the debt. He kept it at one of the lowest levels compared to GDP in modern history. Maybe you are unable to recognize that the whole reason we are discussing a "bailout" is because the the damn demosocialist's forced banks to give mortgages to people who could not pay them back, which fueled the housing bubble, which fueled the credit bubble, which fueled Obama to write an Op-ed proclaiming the only thing we have to fear is not completely throwing the everything, including the kitchen sink, at the Dem's special interest groups. Can't let a good crisis go to waste...
the national debt doubled(!)under bush and median incomes in the US dropped. And the mortgage bit is a republican talking point. Deregulation and trademark republican incompetence and mismanagement (sept 11, Iraq, Katrina, etc etc) sunk the economy. people aren't buying the bs anymore

Do your homework. You may notice all the hush money paid to democrat politicians by Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, banks, etc, before their collapse.
Of course it happened while Bush was in office, but it wasn't republicans getting the big payolas.
And you can quit with the Katrina bullshit. That was the biggest crock of shit ever blamed on an administration. The good people of Nawlins were too stupid to get the fuck out of there, and the good people they elected as leaders were too incompetent to help them after the fact.
