Does this senator have nothing better to do? I'm sure the people of Nebraska think so.

This individual is in need of a serious beating. I often find that people who do idiotic things like this are less inclined to consider doing so again if someone "explains" things to them. I once knew a college professor who was a real little snotty academic. He said some bad things in his classroom that offended a number of people. Some time later he was set upon by persons unknown in the parking lot one night after a department meeting and subjected to a good old fashioned blanket party. I noticed he tended to be more circumspect in his criticism of rural people after that. Might just have been coincidence, I guess.
That's what I think too. Pompous assholes like that need a good 'talking to.'
I'm glad to hear that one arrogant asshole of an academic got a dose of reality. It seems that don't happen often enough. For some reason, the people we entrust to teach the future generations are the most out of touch.
