Absolutely right. That part I'll agree with. If they are treated properly they can be great companions. If they are taught to kill, they will be mean.
But them being smarter than humans? Naw.
They can be trained, they have instincts, but there is no one that can convince me animals are more intelligent than humans.

I'll admit that some people act like animals.
But I've yet to see a critter build their own shelter, dish out their own food, put the hose in their own water bowl, take themselves to the vet when they're sick, trim their own toenails, ...
