"Today I have to drive 290 miles to a job. I will be there all week. Because I couldn’t get an absentee ballot I will have to drive 290 miles back home tonight, get up in the morning, and drive 290 miles AGAIN. yes, I feel that strongly about it. So if it inconveniences you to vote, better stay home. I don’t want you influencing the outcome of the elections ANYWAY."I have nothing to add.

Remember to vote Democrat on Tuesday! My life depends on those slimey bastards.
I'm glad to know someone else takes their civic responsiblity as seriously as I.
I have actually BITCH SLAPPED people who say "why register, its just one vote".
It was in public.
The pub crawlers thought it was a pillow fight in the making.
Then I said what we were fighting about, and they helped me pummel the ingn't sleezbucket who mentioned they didn't like the gas prices.
She's lucky she has teeth left in her head, and thats only because she is my sister.
I am allowed as much time off as necessary PAID to vote. All companies should do this if they are not already.
I have a 4 pg ballot in AZ. Mostly about illegal aliens and smoking in PUBlick...it's gonna be a good day tater
There are a couple questions on the Nevada ballot regarding smoking too. I.e., 'What I can smoke and where I can smoke.'
Q4 basically says "No smoking where underage kids can hang out." Theatres, arcades, bars, etc. But it allows for smoking in designated smoking ares. Much like what is already in existence.
Q5 however, says "No smoking anywhere there is an employee." Which literally interpreted could mean in your own home if you hire a plumber or babysit kids, or go to a motel room where a maid cleans your room, etc.
Q7 Legalize marijuana. Which is a waste of time. It would be so strictly controlled and taxed that folks who buy it will still get the desired amount through non-government channels anyway.
Anon,
Saddam and Osama would love it!
aisby,
Hear here!
Sassy,
Good for you!
S.G.,
At the risk of stating the obvious, companies are required by law to give you time off. They aren't required to pay you for it though. Good for your company!
